THE TRUE MEANING OF A STAR.

       Take some clay or something you can mould with and create any human shape you desire. Can you relate this to our normal lives? Let me give you a clue; your palm is the environment and your fingers are the people. Well, this means that your environment and the people around you mould who you are and probably who you are going to become.
Many teenagers with great potential no longer believe in thier abilities to do great and wonderful things because the people around them downgrade thier abilities and the environments they find themselves in are discouraging.
      I was on my way to school one morning when I sighted a poster, on it was the word 'STARS' and pictures of those who the world call stars. Pictures of musicians with tatoos all ovr thier bodies, musicians that carry girls around. It is so unfortunate for this generation, this which are 'ungodly' have been ignored by people and now this things seem to look good. People and musicians like this are the ones we find around us today. They have influenced teens badly in a negative way. We see teen guys sag and chase girls like a lion chasing it's prey. Most teens have lost focus because of our environment and the people around us. you do not expect somone that walks with successful people to become a failure? At all. Teens and other people sing songs that do not speak good of God Almighty. It seems people have been blind folded, God is just by the side for them and if this is a practise of adult, do you expect teens to be any different? Girl walk half naked on streets and they call it fashion. I thought fashion was to make you look beautiful but opposite is the case now.
      Now, I will love to define a STAR  as a person that as made and is willing to make a GREAT POSITIVE impact in th lives of those around them. People like Nlson Mandela, Prof. Wole Soyinka, Mary Slessor and so on. This stars are not a popular as pop stars and others that dress half naked on the television and even show sexual scenes. Because of then we now thing se i a normal thing ouside marriage. Most people no longer condemn it as long as it does not lead to pregnancy.
     Teens no longer believe in themselves, they want to follow the crowd thereby throwing away thier wonderful God given gitfs for the worldly things.  "If you are a teenager and you are willing to make great changes, I put it to you today that you are a STAR!! All you have to do is create your world, yyour environment of perfection, invite God into your world of AGAPE love, peace, gentleness, kindness and care. Do not just imagine it, desire it , live it and see what you will become. If people mock you, ignore them, their opinion do not make you but both negative and positive build you to perfection.
