Definitely some teens will count this as really gross but it's something we can't discard.
I actually feel really bad when I see, here or read about pregnant teens.
We definitely can not deny the fact that most teens are pressured to have sex whether oral or vaginal sex and so many give into such pressure because of what they hear. Here are facts and myths about sex;
1. EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING IT
This is definitely not true!! You probably believe this because many people wear exposing clothes and move with many friends. Don't judge a book by its cover, people's expressions and actions could make you feel they are in the 'game' already but they are probably not. Some even do that to lure you into it then they mock you.
2. YOU CAN'T GET PREGNANT THE FIRST TIME YOU HAVE SEX.
It is absolutely possible to get pregnant the first time you have sex.
3. YOU CAN'T GET PREGNANT DURING YOUR PERIOD.
Sperm cells can stay in the vagina up to six days after sex. So when an egg is released and gets fertilised you are officially pregnant.
4.YOU CAN'T GET PREGNANT IF YOU HAVE SEX IN WATER OR WHILE STANDING.
Water is not a sperm nor semen repellant. You can get pregnant in both occasions.
5. YOU CAN'T GET STDs FROM ORAL SEX.
Oral sex means mouth to mouth kissing. When there is a sore in the mouth a sexual disease can be contracted.
6. YOU'D KNOW IF YOU OR YOUR PARTNER HAD A SEX TRANSMITTED DISEASE.
Except you begin to see and feel the symptoms you probably won't know.
7. GETTING AN STDS IS THE END OF THE WORLD.
This is half true and half false. STDS like gonorrhoea can be cured but HIV/AIDS can not be cured.
8. OTHERS CAN TELL IF YOU ARE A VIRGIN OR NOT.
They don't have supernatural eyes so they can't.
9. YOU ARE A PRUDE IF YOU WANT TO WAIT.
A prude is a proper person. It wouldn't kill you to be proper, will it?
10. MOVIES AND TV PORTRAY SEX AS IT REALLY IS.
This is definitely not true. There is more to it than what is shown in movies.
The best thing to do is to ABSTAIN!!!
