The rising rate of sexual assault over the world is quite alarming if you agree with me. In most cases young girls and boys teenagers not excluded fall into the hands of misled humans because they were carefree, not conscious of the signals or just decided to ignore them under the claim of" I know him or her well, he or she will never do such a thing to hurt me". Well, maybe we should put that aside and become really conscious. Here are few of those signals you must not ignore.:
1. Regular touching at uncomfortable and private places or close to such areas.
2. A sudden change in attitude:Okay so she never noticed you then she sees you all manly and then begins to pay attention. Guy! Wake up.
3. What they say: If he or she consistently talks about your beauty, figure or manliness, you have to take CAUTION.
4. Over pampering: Some people like doing this but if it gets out of hand like he gives you money regularly you have to pay close attention.
5. The way he or she looks at you: Does she look at you lustfully or seductively? Then it is time to keep your space.
So what do you do when you notice this?
1. Inform a trusted person who will advise and help you out of the ugly situation, parents preferably.
2. Keep your space: Never be alone with such person. Go over to a friend's place when he or she is at your house. Your parents will understand if you told them what you felt earlier.
3. Check their records: Some people love pampering children and teens but check their records for cases of assault or drugs.
4. Speak up!: Tell such person to stop the over pampering and excessive money giving. However, the manner in which you say such should not be rude but firm and in front of a well known person by both of you.
